991.2 GT3: What do you expect to change?

Okay - Figure 918 steering wheel and Macan taillights. If you get 4.0 will never see 9000 redline. Figure 15 hp gain and still 9000 rpm. Possibly a MT option. Will have the RS hood and roof for weight savings and lithium battery option ect. Count on a change in standard and upgraded colors. Looks like Carmine may start replacing GR.
Sounds good but what a wish list

If true 1 of 2 things WILL happen....
1) I actually trade-in for first time ever.
2) sometime in future a 1.2 GT3 parked at dealer will be missing a backup camera system and its 4.0L engine lol
Seriously, the no backup camera situation is driving me nuts! I can't think of a dumber thing to have not offered on the car or at least as a pre-wired accessory dealer installed with the wing in the way

Different aesthetics: Face lift front and rear ends, bigger wing, different wheels (still CL only), potential for front fender vents (but more reserved styling/implementation)
500 hp through use of the 4.0 liter engine from the 991.1 RS
Minor, incremental revisions to RWS, dynamic mounts, E Diff, PDK-S, PASM, etc. Lithium Ion battery optional. No manual.

Small power bump, face lift, tweaks to the PDK-S for better everyday drivability, more options, colors and a bump in price (if the dollar remains strong we may be spared a big price hike). I would say the 9a1 remains @ 3.8L, with some tweaks.

Base MSRP of roughly $145k

Imo, GT2 will be the next non RS GT car. GT3 will come later as a hybrid, maybe n/a but probably turbo hybrid at that point.
MY2019 is a long way out in this carbon focused world. I would be shocked if the FIA doesn't mandate FI or Hybrid for the LMGTE classes by then.

Modest tweaks, modest price increase. I don't see it stepping on the toes of the 1.1 RS while greatly undercutting it's price; that would **** off too many RS owners. Remember that this is a 991.2, not 99(next gen).

And the competition just gets faster while Porsche is content to provide incremental enhancements.
