I have not heard any news re. a GT2 being in the pipeline, but given how fast and successful the 918 Spyder has turned out to be, I am quite worried that Porsche could decide to sacrifice weight and steering feel and make the GT2 AWD.

Wide, low, fast, with a nice engine note. That is all.

Just a reminder, Andreas Preuninger did go on record to say they're seriously considering a 991.2 GT2 / GT2 RS for the end of the 991 generation (probably MY2018 or 2019).

Hi guys, new to the forum, have been on many forums before but this is my first Porsche forum.
Been wondering if there is any new info or news about the idea of the 991.2 GT2/GT2RS?
Also where can I find where Andreas Preuninger confirmed the the new GT2.
Thanks and glad to be on the forum

Hybrid 911 has since been confirmed by AP's boss and the head of R&D ar Porsche. Considering the venue and people talking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a street version of the GT3 R Hybrid.
