Root Beer Float 2
Quick notes on the car after week #1:
Miles as of yesterday 997...(really)
We picked the car up in Rocklin CA and headed South on Highway 5...
Stayed overnight at Harris Ranch...(amazing steaks)
Day two we headed West over to Paso Robles and through Cambria.
Heading up the illustrious HWY1 in this car was very cool.
The limiting factor of 4K RPM was an issue, but it still was apparent this was not my old 991S...
Our second night we stayed at Post Ranch on the cliffs of Big Sur... (if you get a chance to stay here: RUN to it...)
Car:
I love every element of the car in terms of the set up...The Mahogany Metallic is stunning and it feeds my need for color. The red stitching, the LWB, the blackened out headlights / PDLS, nipples in body color all seem to make this thing pop.
Since new I've tinted the windows, applied wing tip decals from KI Studio and have the Sharkwerks bypass coming in a few weeks.
(considering a KI black matte hood decal)
Short of that, the thing is perfect and I'll be ready to go to 9K at Thunderhill next Friday the 27th.
I'll send more input later after it's first track session..
