If someone takes a pic of the article and posts it, then I don't have to buy the magazine....

My local Barnes and Noble probably has the issue. I'll go pick it up today and post.

Edited post above with article. Seems the upload down-sampled the files, so sorry for the quality.

many cars are going to turbos, cars like the gt3 will be increasingly rare. a more special driving experience in a gt3 but not a daily driver for sure (at least in a city environment)

I know, it's not great. If I zoom out to magnify, it's blurry, but I can read it. Not sure what I might be doing wrong on upload. My images are hi res. will try again in a bit.

The magazine can be downloaded from Itunes and is available at Barnes and Noble throughout the USA. Not meant to be a plug even though I am a contributor to Total 911.

While I didn't write this particular article, it is a very good one and doesn't really pick either the GT3 or turbo as the best car. I was the one mentioned in the article who sold his 997.2 turbo for a GT3. While I really liked my turbo, I love the handing of the 991 GT3 and immensely enjoy all the GT3 generations. I would have kept the turbo if I had room but the RS wasn't going anywhere so the turbo had to be sacrifced.

If folks on this site haven't read Total 911 yet, I hope you give it a try.

Tony

I'll be keeping both most likely.

This particular issue won't be available in Barnes and Noble yet. The magazine is based in the UK and this issue just came out. Because Barnes and Noble imports Total 911, it will take several weeks for this one to hit the newsstands here in the USA. They should have the previous issue though.

Well then u don't need to read the article. That is what the article suggests. Niether 911 checks all the boxes, but both of them together covering all the bases.

I'm way more of a GT3/RS guy, but I can't give up the comfort, stereo, power, and 4 seats of the turbo as my daily driver.

With my situation I am forced to pick one porsche and one ferrari. That already requires enough justification to family and I only have two covered garage spots.
With porsche my taste has become more hardcore leading me to pick the gt3. I would like to jump to RS but can't seem to justify it this time around with my gt3 just over two months old. Perhaps a .2 RS is in my future, that is if I can resist waiting out the .2 gt3.

If i had to pick just one Porsche it would be a GT3 or a GT3 RS. Screw daily driving.
