Default My GT3 RS order

My GT3 RS order is now placed, and I feel that deserves its own thread. Guarantee you that I will post pictures when it arrives Although I have ordered the car, I have not yet received a commission number. So you could argue that I technically haven´t ordered yet.

As I have mentioned in another thread, it is not me personally who ordered it. It's my friend who owns a early 918, but he doesn't wont a GT3 without a manual transmission. So he has given his allocation to me, so I will probably get one of the first cars.

I have chosen Lava Orange, black wheels and black/orange leather interior. Have also ordered orange seat belts and orange roll cage.

Full spec:
Lava Orange
Black/Lava Orange leather interior
Wheels painted in satin Black
Roll cage in Lava Orange
Lava Orange seat belts
Headlight cleaning system covers painted
LED main headlights in black
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)
Sport Chrono Package
Lifting system front axle
Lightweight battery (lithium ion)
Automatically dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensor
Vehicle key painted
Floor mats
HomeLink® (garage door opener)
Cruise control
Six-point seat belt for front passenger
Full Bucket Seats
Extended interior package door panel in leather/Alcantara
Door sill guards in carbon, illuminated
Electronic logbook
Digital radio
Online Services
Mobile phone preparation
Sound Package Plus
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module

Looks great. If I were buying an RS--that would be the spec.

Cars are as many know quite expensive in Norway. The car tax is approximately $ 110,000. In addition, we must pay 25% VAT. So in total I have to pay $ 160,000 in taxes. So the total price for my car is 2.85 million Norwegian kroner, or $ 361,000.

Okay...I'll never complain about Texas car tax again at 6.25% (and any trade goes against it).

You'll have an amazing car in Norway

That's probably just as expensive (if not cheaper) as it's gonna be over here.. Damn taxes.

Congrats on your build though, awesome looking car!

It is not exactly cheap. But my impression is that insurance is not more expensive than in countries like Germany and the UK, although the cars are much more expensive in Norway.

Ouch Damn ...... I shouldn't be complaining about 8.7% sales tax.

Keep complaining, otherwise you might end up with 25% VAT

Where would you drive that in Norway - I recall the high speed limit being 80km/h (lived there for 4 years in Stavanger/Bergen). Is there a track somewhere? Seems pointless.
