"GMG and Cantrell have sub strap install solutions, or I copy the German original way of doing it. TBD."
Hey Peter, based on our emails and your comments here I would imagine you're trying to make it as close to OEM as possible. On the sub-belt I believe Porsche installs at the factory the sub belt the same way they did it on the 997 which is with a threaded bracket that is welded into the tub. This is the reason why the CS carpet came with a precut in this section under the seat. When I converted my car here in Germany they did it exactly to spec. There is a part number for this bracket but I can't remember it now. Please find a pic so you get the idea. Peter (Deutsche) can confirm the install on the sub for the 991CS configuration but I figured since you're trying to make it as OEM as possible why over look this detail. OEM CS Porsches don't use sub belt bars ! The contact I sent you here in Bayern should be able to hook you up on this + the body panels if you want to go all out. Let me know if you need anything else and Good Luck!

Chris, thanks.
I did it the same way on 997.
Took a picture of Peters car to confirm. His seats are REALLY shiny ;-)
I'm actually OK to bolt it to the seat, it's just the substrap.
Complete ORM copy is a bit more intrusive but if done right is prefer it as well!
It's all a crap shoot till we get an actual bar in our hands...
I'll try your contact next week.
Don't know how to resize on phone.
On the road till..

Looks very nice I have to admit. To bad you have no roll bar available to get the dimensiosn for the copy procedure.
From my old RS I borrowed a wheel to a wheel manufacturer to copy the centre lock dimensions but to borrow you my roll bar is a bit more difficult
Sorry to be not able to help anymore

I'm down to go halves, I'm sure we can get a bunch of people involved here and get them fabricated. I've got a local shop that will do the work as well, but probably cheaper to go outside of NY/CT.

Punched in the number but "no results found" was the feedback. Used this page:

Now that's weak sauce as I'm sure you don't have all damn lawyers that came up with all those stupid DOT laws like orange side markers and no rear roll bars. Porsche sure makes it hard to for me to spend my money on their products.
