paying 50k more for a car you can use less sounds counterintuitive. The exception is you really just want the fastest track car possible and don't care or want to drive it on the street much. The one factor in favor of the RS is the potentially better resale value due to lower production numbers. To me the gt3 is the perfect street -track supercar compromise. And it is relatively reasonably priced.

Thanks Deacon.

I guess I'm lucky to be in the hunt again. I assure you I won't post on the threads of:
What color, steel or pccb, lift or no lift, led or standard again.

I'll just stick with the important ones like:
Fire extinguisher or no and rim color threads.

I'm a pro at this now.

The extra 50K bump unfortunately crosses my threshold of an enjoyable car to a don't touch it car.

Did my looking into R8, 458 etc for the 100th time and gt3 is still a clear winner.
Are you ok with sharing the pics?

Unfortunately 991.1 RS will be not limited and overtake 991.1GT3 production number

Unfortunately a bunch of guys want to buy these cars and bubble wrap them. It would be great if all the guys who want to buy the RS to drive could get one...

I just picked up a 2015 with ~1,000 miles. Paid sticker and don't regret one penny of it.

Agreed. I know 2 guys who bought the Gen 2 3.8 RS and they will never see the light of day which is a shame. The RS is meant to be driven

I'm not sure that is correct. My dealer is one of the higher volume dealers and they tend to know their stuff. I was told RS will be limited to 600. If you have solid info otherwise please post.

No way .....will there be more than 600 copies because all the 918 owners get first selection, and there is more than 600 of tham. The RS 4.0 was limited to 600 copies this one is a standard RS..
