GT3RS Pre order , what are my chances to get one in "normal" price?

I have not yet spoken to the sales manager yet, who I know well. But it is very disappointing, sometimes it seems like they have short-term memory loss lol.
Hopefully they come to their senses.... Yesterday I gave my sales guy the ultimatum(in a nice way) that he needs to tell me within the next week if I will be getting one of their allocations. If not, I don't want to wait around for them and "maybe" get one, when I could be scouting out another allocation from another dealer.

this is the hard and unfun part of car buying, keep in mind if you don't play the games, eventually they will stop with the games. I make efforts to get my service done at dealer, I want a good relationship. I wihs Porsche would come out with each new model and omit it by time not numbers, like "we will only take orders for the next 3 mos" then you go to your dealer of choice, order your car and whenever its done you get it. No negotiation of price and payment up front or nonrefundable deposit would make this work easier. I'm glad I dont live in Cali!

but how i can contact 184 dealers ?! that will be nightmare

Not limited production. They're just building for a limited period of time, and will make as many as they can in that period. I was told to expect about half as many as regular GT3s.

918 owners get first right of refusal on allocations. That is well known. After that its the list where people have generally put down deposits. I work with two dealers that are (VERY LARGE) and have both sold 2 918s. They have both told me they expect 3-5 cars year one. However, final allocation numbers are not being given out to the dealers until April. At that point they will contact the list (after confirming the 918 owners) The one question that the dealers could not answer is whether or not any 918 owner sales would count against their allocation or be considered extra. They are hopeful it will not, and again I am only speaking about NA, not Europe.

I'm #1 on the list for a GT4 but the dealer just emailed me saying I could be #2 for the GT3RS. This isn't of interest (and out of my range...) but anyone interested in the location please PM me and I'll send contact info (this wasn't local for my GT4)

2 questions:
1. the GT3RS bucket seat option can tilt and go up and down?
i like to seat higher and front (to see the road better) when i'm driving
i'm 184 cm.
2. any news about GT2 or GT2RS?
local dealer told me Porsche might not making them for the 991.1 model.

Wow! Unbelievable.
The local dealership here has a firm rule - they do not sell at list plus. You may have to pay list on a RS - but nothing over list.
They are a straight up honest dealership. Woodhouse Porsche of Omaha

My Tampa/St. Pete dealerships still want a $25k premium on regular GT3....I can only imagine what they will want for the RS. Forget it...I get driven away from Porsche farther and farther all the time.
