Guys. Weve had the leaked document over one the other thread since beginning of week and thrashed it all out over 320 pages over there. Also as Ive been saying since the beginning its not a new engine same engine as GT3 the Hatz interview was a botch. He meant the engine is all new over the last 4.0RS...suggest everyone get on the same thread :-)

A larger diameter wheel/tire will result in a lengthened contact patch, all else being equal.

If my requested PTS color (which is still in feasibility review) is approved in time, I will be doing that (226 / Chartreuse / Lime Green). If it isn't, it's either Voodoo Blue, Maritime Blue, or Pastel Orange. Possibly in that order, but not necessarily. It's not going to be easy to decide.

The only solution is for Porsche to make more GT cars that I want to buy, and permit me to get PTS on all of them.

Makes the wheels/tires interchangeable with the 918 (identical tires front & rear for the 918 and RS). I expect to see the expensive Magnesium 918 Weissach rims optional for the RS too.

As Nigel would say, "but this one goes to 11 (almost)":

It has to be pretty close to same, since it's making exact same HP/L.

No matter all kinds of calculations at the end of the day it still revs slower than the GT3 engine. I have to think the marketers in Stuttgart must have gone into some kind of funk after learning that fact. That makes me believe that they must be extracting all out of the engine, otherwise the marketers would demand another 300 RPM to 9100.
