2011 Porsche gt3 rs vs 2014 gt3
I own a 2011 Porsche GT3 RS mostly to track usage.
I really love the car.
Considering buying a 2014 or 2015 GT3 as I cannot get the new RS
for track usage mostly
Is there a big difference beyond manual versus paddle shift?

The new RS is a street car. More of a street car then any RS before it and more so then any 997GT3.
But for less money you can buy a 2014-2015GT3. It is also more "subtle" in terms of styling for street use.
Manual is heal-toe driving with no handsfree in the city. Rowing the gears is an endangered driving pleasure soon to be reserved for only pre-owned older model vehicles.
Paddle shift is faster shifting, no heal-toe, easier on clutch wear and you can drink a latte in the city or talk on your cell phone while you drive with one hand....
