I've yet to hear the SW in person but I have been very happy with the BBI side muffler delete. It also drops ~40lbs off the rear. Judging from Money's dyno runs, you want the exhaust on at all times for performance, so if that matters to you then you need to ditch the button.

Others can chime in, but since I put in the SW I don't notice a difference with the button. Seems the same.

I don't think you will get any measurable performance gains by just changing the exhaust on these cars

If anything, very, very little. Really undetectable, so they say. I have yet to experience my SW yet.

The valves open at 4k, and you will hear the difference. Run above 4k, and turn off sport exhaust and you will hear the difference. Also turn it off when you first start the car up in the morning as the valves are open then they shut when RPM is reached. Big difference.

Hi Mav, I have since disconnected the valves because I disliked the fluctuation and now it's more linear. However IMO the difference I noticed was minimal. I had a 991S prior with the PSE and noticed a substantial difference in that car.

They have a lot of stuff for 991. Side deletes, full monoball suspension, cup control arms, etc. just like on 997 side deletes are better if you like loud and for track use.

Is the car too loud for driving around neighborhoods with the side muffler delete? I assume the center muffler remains?

Center remains, I don't think its any louder than a 458. I'll slap the GoPro on the windshield tomorrow and take the long way into the office, i've been meaning to do it for some time now. Hopefully it will give you guys some idea of what its like.

Can you post a sound clip?

Am soo confused. Looks like Sharkwerks might just be the easiest and easiest setup.. Not too loud and not too quiet.
