There are many things made in China and Taiwan that are very high quality. Unfortunately they are often diluted with poorly engineered and manufactured products. Classical music instruments are a great example. Some of the best luthiers in the world are from China, producing astounding high quality instruments. They are often overshadowed by the plethora of shops creating substandard instruments. IPE may be on the good end of things, often providing us with some beautiful photography and videos. If they are on that end of the spectrum, and they come forward as a true RL member, I think they could gain traction. Right now, I agree....they need to "put up or shut up"! Sorry for the instrument anology , I've played violin since I was a teenager and own a high quality Chinese violin. It took a long time to find one, but they do exist.

aside from the IPE politics, the exhaust sounds amazing! That being said, it's probably louder than most would want for street use since they're not far from being straight pipes, it looked like it hit 117db on the sound meter, good luck at Laguna Seca with that lol. Also, I'd be concerned of losing bottom end due to a lack of backpressure. But I will admit, actual sound from the video was amazing! I felt like it was a LeMans car lol

anyone know why this would be? is a lower reading louder? i dont know how those work.
i would hope its not the case. although it doesnt seem to get louder in person when rev'd... from my experience. was not real pleased about this. id much prefer the sound level increased like a ferrari does.

Serious question, without the politics of the forum...Thus far what is the best exhaust system that members have actually heard in person or installed?
I agree the stock system sounds great. I put the SW BP on I was immediately happy with how it woke it up after 5000. So is there something better? Better sounding or better sounding with an actual gain if you do full change out?
Should this question be the started on a new thread or has this very question been posed already and I have to do some more research?
