Had the hood wrapped in 3M satin black vinyl today, wanted to see how it looked before I swap it out for a full carbon hood. I guess it looks GT2ish??

 

Thanks AC. Thought about doing the roof, but it has the Sat radio wart which makes it nearly impossible.

i think on GT2RS it makes sense.. they are trying anything they can for ounces.. but on a GT3 i vote just take your left shoe off before driving since it's no longer needed and take a poop.

 

+1 it will look super sharp with hood, mirrors and wing to go with your black wheels!

Thats exactly what I'm doing, but no hood or roof. The vinyl guy wanted to do the roof black but I said no to that. So I'm getting satin white pearl all around, with black mirrors and wing.

 

I vote black for the hood and rear wing. Leave the mirrors white, as it would look too busy in black.

 

If you're going with black mirrors, you might consider this variation (mostly black with lower bracket in body colour) for a slightly different look. The picture shows this as a factory Exclusive option; note the one inside the showroom also has a black hood.

 

Looks great and yes definitely very GT2RSish. I like it a lot!

Yep.. What I was going to say. That's the necessary combo to make it not look like an afterthoughts. Or just skip mirrors and make it one black swath down the middle with roof and spoiler and tail, and leave wing tips and mirrors white
