Thumbs up GT3 Launch Control G Forces

I finally was able to use the launch control a few days ago. I have to say that the acceleration from 0 until the car gets a good grip on the pavement is amazing. I checked the G gauge and it measured 0.99. It was late in the evening, tires were not at optimum temperature, and the pavement was a little wet. I'm curios to know if anybody has measured the acceleration of the launch control in better conditions. Thanks.

When you use launch control, does the car shift automatically at redline or does the driver have to shift manually, or can you decide yourself and do it either way?

I'll try to measure it again in better conditions. I'm pretty sure the maximum G will be greater than one. I'll report the results.

Launch controlled? I don't get close to that kind of traction under acceleration but maybe I have heat cycled my tires out.

Well it was a 1.26 sec qtr mile. I'm surprised the G's weren't higher 😀

Havent tried launch control yet but on a street start my max g forsce achieved was .87 and one time i did .92 but that was during a u turn therefore some lateral g's might have increased that number.
