Default New to 991 GT3 forum

Just wanted to introduce myself to the 991 gang I had an 04 GT3 for 5 years or so and recently sold it after getting used to my wife's 991S. She did not like sharing her car so I got my new GT3 this week. I will be sharing some pictures soon.
One question, does Porsche supply the CL socket with the car I have not been able to find one in the car.

Thanks, Mike

Welcome and Congrats

The CL socket is housed in a round container under the removable plastic shroud in the front trunk between trunk storage well and windscreen
located forward of the battery on the left side( in the storage container as well has the center cap removal tool )

I love this car already but very hard not to put the foot into it just over 300 miles.

A common issue with most owners.

Yes, it is definitely an issue. I am at 229 miles and it is going to be a long time before i hit the so called break in threshold number. Will keep everyone posted. One good thing on the break in, I am not driving my GT3RS so not putting miles on for the time being

I think there is currently a small, but burgeoning market for VAGINAs - Valet And Gt3 breakIn Artisans:

A non-carguy who cares nothing about thrust, exhaust note, cornering, braking, or any such nonsense and will simply carefully drive your car for 2,000 miles as per Porsche's prescribed break-in manners: vary RPMs, keep it below 4,000 RPM, allow it to warm up before driving, No Lanch Control or double-paddle-pulling-Hooliganing.

Honestly, I would love to employ such an **** retentive individual so that I can spare myself the agony driving the car like a pensioner in a Prius for what will seem like an eternity. I need a Fembot or something. If I were IronMan I would send my assistant.
