GT3RDUN has arrived in DFW!

Just got the car earlier today, put 100 miles on it (at, but not above 5k rpm). My comparison notes are off my 2011 997.2 Turbo S Cab.
1. Startup - it actually starts alot like my Ducati 996 SPS - meaning it turns over once or twice, thinks about giving up, and then finally starts, but it sounds pissed that you woke it up.
2. Idle - same thing, it just seems mad to be sitting at idle
3. PDK - The paddles are much firmer than the turbo, no accidental shifts here. Shift time is stupid fast, I thought my turbo was great, this is in another league altogether.
4. Suspension - normal is not as bad as the sport setting on the turbo S, somewhere inbetween normal and sport on the turbo, but without that bouncing that you get on sport on the turbo S. sport mode - yeah track only.
5. acceleration - very linear, not the hit you in the head with a baseball bat that the turbo S gives, but the plus side of this is that the front end stays very planted, unlike the turbo which gets very light under acceleration
6. sound system - sucks. I'll just leave it off, when I need tunes I have the Burmester in my Cayenne.
7. weight - you can really feel how much lighter this car is, it just wants to go around corners.
8. exhaust - well, it's not my 430, but it does have a nice sound. heard the sharkwerks setup, and think I'd get tired of it as a DD.
9. front axle lift - probably the single most important option. I couldn't drive it to work without it.
10. seats - I got the sofas, and think I'm glad I did. they are really nice sets, very comfortable, and the sport seats are just a bit snug (or maybe it's my fat ***).
It's going to be tough to keep the revs down, but i'm planning to do some back roads stuff over the weekend, her first track day is Jan 31.

my wife was shotgun most the time, and she enjoyed it (her DD is a 2013 Boxster S), so not too much bouncing or noise.
