I saw this on a McLaren and it looked great. Don't know if legal but from a distance, looks like a real plate so one may have a lower risk of being pulled over for it.

I mounted a U.S. Millworks quick release bracket. Go to website and look at video If you don't like off center application then it's not for you. Can adjust how off center you want it.

You could always use something like this!
Hide away plate. Cop pulls you over, push the button and up it comes! "What do you mean officer? I have a plate!"

I had the same question. The video claims it stayed put to 143 mph. If you're planning on going faster, maybe consider putting more magnets, and doing what Alan C suggested (bending the plate to conform to the shape of the bumper, although you might have to melt/alter the plastic holder (if using one) to do that). You could also add double sided tape for any occasion where you'd plan to go that fast. But presumably on track you'd take it off, and there probably aren't too many occasions to hit high speeds elsewhere regularly. If you try this, please let us know what you think.

I certainly don't plan on going 143MPH on a public street (), therefore no plate needed at that speed. So I think the magnet plan might work...BUT looking a the front end of '15 GT3 could be interesting. Will wait to see what it looks like once I have it in my garage (3 weeks I hope)...

As much as I hate front plates, I have to say any cop who allows the motorist to retrieve a plate from the trunk, frunk or otherwise, IS doing said motorist a big favor. Having a plate in a location other than where it is required by law is an infraction. If the cop allows otherwise, it's a treat.

Sorry for the ramble. There are bad cops, bad lawyers and bad doctors. I just want to give cred to the good ones.

Having to ruin the look of any car with a hideous front plate should be a national crime!

Seriously, what exotic or sports car actually look good with one? NONE!

No one disagrees with that of course.

However, some states, like Texas (and the City of Austin in particular) have made it almost impossible to run without one, so there is the dilemma. After three pull overs, I already know what's coming on the GT3, so just prepping my self to best mitigate while 'comply'.

Show 'N' Go guys! Stealth remote front plate!

Check this one out. These guys actually make the best license plate frames too! Been buying the Autocross for years.

Front plate, but no State income taxes...it's not an easy call

Wish I could be there with you! Great weather too.

Tax savings would more than offset front plate tickets!

Pretty cool, but you definitely lose more clearance!! I'm sure an issue.
