wwlee, you have the my dream car, congratulations! I hope in a couple/few years to be in the rarified GT3 market to purchase. Quick question though about the LWBs (light weight buckets I'm assuming, please correct me if I'm wrong). Could someone put a child car seat in them in a pinch? I realize they're not practical for regularly having a kid seat in them, but on the rare day I might need to is it possible do you think?

Congratulations on the new car. I'm sure you will get the approach problem sorted out. I installed a new driveway 2 years ago. The guy installing it in new I had a low car at the time so he increased the slope of the driveway, tore out the sidewalk across the driveway including 2 sections on either side which allowed him to transition a slope on the sidewalk and then reduced the approach angle on the pad to the street. Looking at it you can't tell what he did. I can drive the 991 GT3 almost straight into the driveway with no scraping.

Wayne, I'm having Avenue Sound install an Escort 9500ci. Totally integrated with laser deflectors (they do have to cut into the front grill for those but if I have to I can always buy a new grill). The display will be integrated into the rear view mirror. I'll show it to you when we get together this spring.

Vivian - I used a few 2x4's (placed in the shape of an 'I' ) on the left wheel (propping the car up to make it in) to get my 997 C2S up my driveway and had no issues going up if I got the correct angle...total failure with the GT3. Could probably use longer wood planks supported by blocks underneath...but giving these race ramps a try to decrease chances of getting splinters. I ordered two sets to ease the driveway slope, then ease off the ramps.

Silverrules - thanks...I tried out PDK Sport mode today, and was just blown away at the difference. Trying not to get too carried away until I have Xpel installed.

JJM1970 - sorry, no idea about child seats...never actually dealt with them before. I would imagine you may need a custom-seat given how the sides of the seat are raised...but other folks here would probably have better input.

Alan - glad to hear your driveway fits the car now =). I imagine I will likely redo my driveway if these race ramps don't work, or if I get sick of pulling these out each time I enter and exit.

Jeff - I look forward to seeing your car in the spring! I've always been apprehensive of having someone cut/wire/disassemble parts of the car to do an install, so would be great to see how your car is setup. The deflectors is a huge plus!
