Only thing I don't like is that little awkward pad of leather in the center of the top part of the seat. Looks odd to me...
I agree with you. The 918 spyder seats have an opening where that leather thing is in the center of the top part of the seat on the GT3. I'm sure I'll warm up to them when they are here...
Weird. You'd think they could have at least used painted bolts.
PTS?
It's raw, I agree. The bottom of the car looks more finished than this part of the interior. Not a big deal, but if I had a 918 in my garage, I'd expect something different than this.

You can barely see the side bolts on the 918 Spyder sport bucket seats due to the high & wide 'sills' of the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic monocoque. The older gt2-type sport bucket seat from the 997 era were not well finished on the side either (see last photo of the factory bucket seat on my MY2012 Spyder).
It's perfectly fine folks...we beg for the new sport buckets and we finally got them on the 991 gt3's! Be happy!
Congratulations Jon70. Awesome to get those seats and car early! I'm a little surprised Porsche bothered to change them from the 918 so much. Wonder if it was to try to keep the 918 customers happy. But I can't imagine they'd mind that much? We'll see what the RS gets, but chances are it'll be the GT3 version I would think.

I agree. It's not all that much different than the 997.2. Either way, they are basically race seats; raw and beautiful. I would not want covers on the hardware. I doubt they will be that noticeable when getting in the car anyway. Beautiful as they are.
