CHP is going to love this. Count me in the non-Porsche group. I'll try to stay out of the photos.

Welcome, look forward to seeing you.

Dan (suggests we give CHP no reason to love us other than for giving them a chance to look at some nice cars)

I still don't know yet when the GT3 is arriving. But I finally got word that the 918 arrives Wednesday (tomorrow). So if, if the GT3 doesn't arrive -- and if I can get the courage to drive the 918 without first installing clear bra everywhere -- I'll bring the 918.

Would be very cool to see your new 918...chances of you getting a tiny pebble Mark in the front are extremely low. Easy for me to say because I don't plan to clear bra my new GT3 despite owning it for two weeks now, but carpe diem as they say! Bring it!

Moe is going to put track wrap on the vulnerable areas for me. He says it won't look pretty, but it will protect the paint until I drop it off at his place Sunday after the drive. So, it looks like I'll be bringing the 918.

I've updated the first post with current information. I've also added a route map.

http://www.plotaroute.com/route/25653

If you click on the icon with numbers 1,2 & 3 and lettering, direction information will pop up.

That is so nice! Nothing like putting on a 70 mile canyon run to start that new born 918 with a memory.

Dan (knows varying revs are guaranteed)

Looks like my car may not be available at dealer until Monday. Maybe I"ll just grab a double expresso and check you guys out in the Starbucks parking lot!

You should just bring what you have available. Sharing the ride and having lunch at Neptune's is part of the whole day. Bring the GT3 next time.

Dan (emphasizes we are not doing a cannon ball run in the canyons so bring anything comfortable)

Little late to the party, but count me in with my RS.
