Perhaps the GT FORE will work out better for you.

Lots of people? Really? I think that's a bit much.

Also, not all dealer lot cars are customer back-outs. Some dealer cars are cars that locked early per the dealer's specs.

Can someone PM Lisa's contact info? I would like to settle this one way or another...since I really wanted to build my own car, not the dealer's spec. At the end of the day I want one either way.

I hope this will kill this incorrect information. I was at lunch with the COO of PNA last week. We discussed many things. On the issue of any more GT3's that was a clear NO. They are done no more allocations to dealers. The number of GT3's 2014 and 2015 combined will be 1400 to 1500.

It's a great car I don't care if they make 10,000.

Cars.com has 55, 991 Gt3 cars for sale (combination of new and used 2014/2015). That is quite concerning given that , going forward the supply will only increase as more cars are delivered. Resale value on this car is a big question mark... If there was a serious buyer today ...looks like there are options (new allocations , used cars , new cars). If all of the 2014 cars are lemon law cars ...then its a bit better scenario from a supply of desirable cars standpoint.

On a positive side this car may have more prospective buyers in used market due to pdk when compared to prior GT3's/ Resale on these cars are going to be better than any other 120k plus cars.

Resale relative to 997.2 gt3 is the big question mark at this point. When i purchased my 997.2 gt3 ...i dont recall seeing so many cars for sale in cars.com

I am awaiting my 2015 in Jan too. Lets see how this plays out.

Sorry you got all butt hurt over MY opinion on this. Nice mature response though. Class act on your part.

And yes, from everything I've read and video watched, seems the car is awesome. But I personally don't like owning cars that you see at every other corner. I also know if they continue producing this car, it will most definitely hurt resale value. If you could care less about either of my reasonings, good for you. But no need to comment like a douche yourself.

Again, my apologies if I struck a nerve somehow.

You are seeing so many cars listed because every dealer knows that it is a small production car and are trying to capitalize on the demand for those that don't want to wait. Regardless of the numbers listed today, long term resale value measured in relation to original MSRP will be much stronger on 991 GT3 vs regular 911 and 991 turbos.
