Default Decided to keep my car...

After purchasing my GT3 earlier this year while looking at it parked in my garage for months, I got disgusted with it and said I will going to sell it. After I got the replacement motor, it still just sat in there until about 3 weeks ago. I started driving it again and fell back in love with it.. I lowered it and had the wheels power coated Porsche silver. It is a amazing car and I'm glad I didn't sell it..

This is awesome, I was sad when you previously decided to get rid of it. I like the silver wheels on a white car. How much did you lower it F/R? I wanted to lower it 1 cm all around but was worried about more scrapes to the brake ducts while driving in town.

What do you mean by "I lowered it"? Did you adjust the adjustable spring perches down to the minimum settings and get it re-aligned? This was just about 8mm in the front, if I recall.

Thanks guys..

I lowered it on the stock coilovers and had it re-aligned. My car has the front lift so it won't go any lower, I believe cars without the lift will go lower. Mine went down about 1".. Sam, I have no issues driving it anywhere, I'm used to lowered cars, real low cars The car seems to turn in better but I have not run this car at the track, I'm trying to get in a lot of seat time in the Cayman before my first Club race in March.

Thanks. Are you going to race a PDK Cayman racecar or a track only manual Cayman? I am considering one of those (PDK racer) because some think that eventually they will have a spec Cayman class. Of course, the hard core spec Boxster guys smirk at the thought.

Streetking - I hope all is well and glad you kept it. Did you get your Huracan yet?? I would really love for you to post comparisons of the GT3 vs Lambo vs Ferrari. Your insight would be very interesting.

Sweet Rides, all of them.
I've put small block chevy's in 70 Trans Am's, makes an exceptional car, huge ride & handling upgrade with 150 lbs less up front, and it a bolt in.
Thanks for the pics, inspiring.

StreetKing. Welcome back. Love the new look wheels - will be much easier to keep clean with clear coat on them. You'll love the car on the track - its where it really comes alive!

Lovely garage!
