Thanks guys. Need to drop by for some good IPA on tap. We are in N. Calif and about 1.15 hr away from South Lake Tahoe and 2 hrs from San Francisco. Middle of boonies. We love it out here.
^^^^^^Quite a good value for all that home work and benefit of function and performance!
I prefer these recent photos showing the wing vertical supports without striping
To me the striping on the verticals looked like it was trying to cover that junction point
which to my eye looks cleaner presenting as it is and shows off the well made adapted new wing
coupling point. Well done and Thanks for the education/contribution
My Wife agrees with you 100% - and now, I do also.
Here is a photo of the new Wing laid on top of the OEM Wing.
It is only 5 inches longer on each side
5 Inches longer on each side, This is the Crawford Wing on top of the OEM Wing.
Best Wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and my fellow RLs
The aesthetics of the Crawford Wing take a bit getting used to, but the functionality is there and the price is right. The uprights on a cup car are not the most elegant things of human creation, either. It could be uglier: look at these strap-ons from the Japanese tuner RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF :
I actually like RWB (see my avatar). That guy is an artist. But he takes otherwise bland and outdated 964s and 993s and customizes them into these beasts. The 991 GT3 is already the best looking 911 ever made including the upcoming RS imho. You shouldn't mess with perfection.
