Congratulations on the new car - love the color, I had Basalt Black on my 997.2 GT3 and thought it really set the car off. My new car due at the dealer this coming week is GT Silver, hope I like it as well as the Black. Your option package is very close to mine except I did go for the PCCBs with the hope that they are truly better than the PCCBs I had on the earlier car.

I was more interested in your comments regarding the Turbo S - I too am trading mine in for the GT3. I had cancelled my August 2013 order for the GT3 due to frustration with the stop loss issue and jumped into the TTS. I have enjoyed the car but as an engineer, I really wanted the latest technology and greatest performance Porsche has to offer. I also do 5 or 6 track days a year and the TTS was better than expected, but felt heavy - hoping that the GT3 is a little more connected.

Nice, very nice. Bring it to the track, good local choices and a bunch of 996, 997 and 991 GT3's are always around. Mosport, TMP, Shannonville and Watkins Glen are close. Gives you a chance to see what your car will do without it ending up towed away by the OPP!

I am struggling with this question now, I will probably use the tow hook, or see if it's possible to stick it in the middle.

Same here, I initially had May production of the GT3 before the fire, then cancelled it and jumped to the TTS. After driving the GT3, I can say that TTS is still a very nice car, but it's too soft, too quiet(this is a biggest problem for me, I am looking for emotional driving experience).

GT3 is about 200kg lighter than TTS, but I barely feel that difference on road, not sure on the track

Gosh, I think black looks amazing and menacing....I got white but black was the initial preference. Lots of track use destroys almost any color but my black cars always get speckled chips everywhere.

My 2015 should be here by the 7th, I ordered silver wheels, I wish I had stuck with stock! Beautiful car!

Maybe you can trade with someone that has a Sapphire Blue Metallic car that neglected to spec silver? I think silver is the best wheel by far on blue cars.

I am waiting for my jet black metallic GT3 to come as well. Looking forward to it.
Still keeping my TTS for DD though.
