Default Yet another build question! Help!

After some hesitation- I AM IN.
Sold my 996 turbo and now the hard part- the build!

I am almost there but need advice from the fashion gurus on the board.

I am going with metallic white, leather with red stitching, carbon fiber, and red dials (no sport chrono, no extended leather dash, no steering in leather).

My dilemma is that I really want PCCB but just don't think it goes well with the red stitching. Has anyone ordered white car/PCCB/ red stitching/ red dials?

What do you guys think?

Fortunately, my build locks in 2 days. So not too much time to torture myself

I am learning against PCCB unless I hear otherwise.

THanks

Go with standard stitching (grey,) yellow seatbelt, white dials and carbon ceramics. Just got mine with the that spec and all ties in nicely. Definitely get carbon ceramics, they are awesome.

I went with metallic White, no stitching, and no PCCB's (for vrious reasons)....IMO the yellow calipers won't be a big deal with the red accents on the inside but if you want a nice clean perfect flow then go with red calipers, and save yourself $10K...

I'd pass on the Red guages- hard to see the orange needle with the red background. If white car- try the white guages- looks very cool.

If doing PCCBs, I would go with the Platinum Grey stitching. Standard or white gauges. Just IMHO.

Another Metallic White. I went with red gauges, red stitching, no PCCB's, and no sports chrono. Good luck!

Careful with your build freeze dates! Mine was supposed to lock on 11/7 but it locked 2 weeks early with no warning. My arrival date was also bumped up accordingly. Looks like Porsche is putting the pedal to the metal on pumping these out.

This is exactly what my build looks like right now. I've had too many pcars with white gauges - including the 996 turbo which I just sold.

Agree that the white is a cleaner look and will show most clearly. But I like the red look- looks more bold. And more importantly- the wifey likes it !

Also goes with the red stitching and belts!

still struggling with PCCBs myself. That said, I will likely go red irons, red stitch and red belts and buckets; well buckets either way.

If you decide on PCCBs, I would consider platinum stitch and yellow belts with standard black gauges.

Thanks for your support on the yellow calipers/ red accents combo, but I think the fact that no one else has fessed up to that build combo answers my question. Just seems like one too many colors in the mix- guess most forum members agree it is not a good idea.

drop the red gauges. They look horrible, imho. Stock are best unless you like the outline of all the warning lights sticking out like a sore thumb on the gauge face. Same applies to white which I originally wanted until I saw pics of them.

My two cents: PCCBs were much more important than stitching. I agree that the red looks cool, but would clash with Yellow calipers. Red/White/Yellow gauges are not my style though. Especially since the dials are orange.

I would trust your instincts on this. With red gauges, red stitching, Yellow calipers, etc. you will have to much going on.

I feel that if you do the ceramic brakes, you need to stay away from red inside the cabin. That's obviously a personal opinion. I originally had white gauges, but decided against it based on what I read on the site and seeing pictures.
