I don't have my car yet. But people have complained that they feel like they are getting flashed from behind, because of reflections off the wing?

Well, I do need the four doors for my daughter but since she has never ridden in my M3 (as we always take the GTI if we need to transport her somewhere), it seems like it would be a waste to have the M3 with a flat battery. You said it, once the GT3 comes...what M3? Hehe. Interesting with the Macan, as my wife and I were thinking of upgrading from our GTI to a Macan. If they had any on the lot I would've bought one, but since every single one is spoken for and the waiting list is at least 6 to 9 months out, I figured that there was no need to upgrade from the GTI...right now. You ordered a Macan S or Turbo?

I am quite sure if you get an allocation on a new 992 GT3 that you can go through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and get anything your little heart desires done to your GT car...just make sure you have a very fat wallet

only issue with daily driving a GT3 is staying under the speed limit. there are more exciting cars to do the grocery run.... i'll probably get an lc500 to replace my f80 m3 in the next or so. just sounds better and more enjoyable in the idle to 4k rpm space.
same with the e92 m3, its more enjoyable to putt around in than the f80... which needs to be going 8/10ths with the turbos on boost to be even be remotely fun.

6-spd or PDK? LWBS vs sofas? My commute is approx 20 miles each way in the Chicago suburbs and would have no issues daily'ing a PDK / Sofa 991 GT3 3 days a week as long as there is a more practical option for Costco runs or kid duties. A manual with buckets might be a different matter, but that may reflect my age (51) and mindset (AARP)-

I’m 55 and have a manual with buckets and commute 60 miles of a mix of city and highway driving. It’s comfortable and fine for that duty. The clutch can get annoyingly stiff sometimes in stop and go traffic for extended periods.

I'm set to daily mine - we all paid to enjoy these, enjoyment might be defined differently by some, but mine is all about the drive. Can't wait, just doing a little work to "Roy" before he comes up to the Bay area.
