Marine Traffic is calling for a 10/21 ETA at 17:00 UTC (12 Noon?). My dealer confirmed this AM that I should have the car before month-end - originally ordered in August 2013, cancelled and reordered this past August. I think we are all a little crazy at this point.

I think I'm going to order all that detailing stuff that
Money2536 has and then I saw Mooty's stash!
It's all about cleaning now! It's so close I can smell
the alcantara!

I know EXACTLY how you guys feel. My life is so boring without a car on the high seas... Savor the excitement.
On another note, I hit 9k today in first gear today:-) The upshift at 9k rockets you forward as the car remains in the powerband. what a rush.

You can say that again!
Should be ok! I know when I drove the GT3 at Barber in July I was hitting 9000
on every shift. That car had 1200 miles on it.
I'll let you know how many miles are on it on Tuesday when I go back to drive
it again. Anything to get my fix before my car gets here!

Rubbaman, thanks for tracking the Kentucky Highway and her battle with Hurricane Gonzalo. While she valiantly survived the hurricane, I am concerned about the beating our 2015 Porche GT3s sustained during the transit. The Kentucky Highway must have fought very rough waves and winds, which pounded the Porsche mechanicals. From your NOAA satellite images, the KH sailed directly through the northern portion of the hurricane. Porsches are not engineered to survive the abrupt g forces generated by pounding waves of a hurricane.

My guess is that these cars are tied down pretty well to load their suspensions. That should mitigate much of "beating" from the storm. Also, the Kentucky Highway is not a small ship at almost 600 feet and 50,000 tons gross weight - I am sure the ship road through the storm pretty well.

I think she missed the eye by about 100 miles, but thankfully to the leeward side. It was a rough night in the labor/delivery room!
Thanks, it has been fun tracking it. Never thought this would happen though. We should all know that are babies are all safe in the next couple of weeks.
Extra round of rum for the boys! And us!
