You'd have to get the standard 991 911 Carrera side mirrors and those have nasty wind buffeting issues.
The 991 GT3 mirrors are powered for adjustment purposes; don't see why they couldn't just be programmed to automatically move all the way down within their adjustment range. That's all the mirrors in the other cars do; the housings don't swivel.....

It is Nav TV but integrates perfectly - when reverse is selected, it triggers, and goes back to normal PCM screen when drive is selected. Integrates into PCM perfectly - you can do all factory setup through the screen - when it is connected, and software reset, it triggers the camera setup. Very cool.

Sounds perfect. Have any links on where to get it?

I got it from my local LA installer but NAV-TV has a site - it is

http://navtv.com/product.php?ProductID=31

Might be best to call them for specifics.

In an e-mail conversation I had with Andrea, she said that the memory seats are available on the MY15 GT3's. Only the 14's did not have them. I guess we won't know for sure until some 15's are in the hands of people.

The buffeting is caused by something else. Sport design mirrors are not the cure unfortunately.

I have the keyless entry on our Cayenne GTS, and while it's nice, I don't miss it on the GT3 at all.

well for the memory seat it is OK on contrary of the folding side mirror

but the painful missing option is the park assist
especially here in UAE, massive sidewalk and park block...

but the interest of this car is somewhere else so we can forgive it.

I don't have the GT3 yet, but I already know I am going to be annoyed by the lack of entry and drive. Not sure why they didn't at least offer it as an option. I hate when I get rental cars that don't have keyless entry. I have it on my 991S, BMW, and S4 DD. This will be the only car I own where I'll need to use the key. It's usually tucked nicely in my work bag.

Yes, of course.

As opposed to the key proximity feature, I was wondering specifically if there is a key w/ remote point and shoot function. I guess not.

Yeah, it's a big bummer for me as well. You get used to just enter-and-drive pretty quickly.

Assuming the keys are actually compatible, maybe there is a retrofit opportunity here with the appropriate components from the option on the base 991?

Just spoke with my SA and was told that the 18 way seats for the MY 15 GT3 will have memory.

Fingers crossed.
