What RPM's do you get at 75 mph in 7th gear?

 

you mean 2nd gear ?...maybe 3rd ?

 

Barely any. It was quite shocking to me the first time I drove the car in auto without the sport mode engaged. On a wide intersection, pulling off from a traffic light, I found the car in 7th gear after crossing the intersection. Rather odd, but I guess that's what PAG has to do to get the car into the fuel economy target they need.

 

very very low. I will pay attention next time and reply exact RPM. If not mistaken ~2K RPM. I see 4th sometimes 5th gear at very low speed and I mean low like in 30ish MPH. Auto mode only good when you are lazy.

 

I have yet to drive this car in "auto" - and may never. I took her out this morning on the HWY for about 30 miles(each way) because I had an appt I needed to make. I was having the interior detailed with leather conditioner ect because in about 4-6 weeks she will go in to storage. This car continues to amaze me. At 100- 120 it is just so planted and still full of power. I was dumb-founded. I was not driving reckless but it was 8:00 in the AM and an open HWY and traffic was humming. There was a Police officer gunning people with a laser gun but my radar gave me time to adjust but he could not gun me. I do not have a front license plate and I can see hit trying to get me and he was frustrated. I think the aerodynamics and low profile made a tough spot to hit

 

I am brushing up on my pdk paddle shifter skills on grand turismo with a variety of sim cars and tracks. I should feel well versed and controlled with them vs h shift by my first track day next spring.

 

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but isn't the OP asking what the RPM's are in 7th at 75 mph? Anyway, the answer is: about 3100.

 

May I ask which radar detector do you use? : )

 

I have a Passport 9500ix that is hard wired in. I have had it for about 4 years. I have been very happy with it and it has saved me many times. It is not a jammer because that is illegal in IL. It will pick up laser but you have very little time to react

 

I'm assuming 3100 is right. I would have expected you to have a gear chart for the 991 GT3. It's not in the owner manual.

 

My RPMs show 2150 @ 50 MPH in 7th. Damn. I just realized you asked for 75 MPH! Ugh!
