Production stopped

When the bucket seats got announced I tried to get my build pushed back to November. My dealer tried to get another allocation or swap with another dealer in Canada but couldn't.
I haven't heard of a new Canadian allocation even with all the US ones kicking around. I'm curious to see if they are going to build GT3's past December.

I dropped in at the dealer on Wednesday and put a deposit on a 2015 GT3, #3 on the list so expect delivery Q3 2015.
The dealer called me yesterday (Friday October 10) and said Porsche called them saying that GT3 production will stop when the orders currently in the system are filled.
No new orders as of 10/10, mine might have been the last accepted order in Canada...
Same deal in the USA???

Leigh2 - The R8 V10 is truly a great car. I had one in between my 2007 997.2 Turbo and my 991 Gt3. It was a 2011 V10 Spyder.. I recommend the gated 6-speed -The BEST on the market-bar none and may be the last of the "BEST". I will not comment on my experience because I have in other threads and, in the end, it is a great car and I was splitting hairs and want you to enjoy the experience.

Congratulations Gravity. No photos yet? Mine went into production yesterday.

I'm confused; didn't we already know there were no more allocations past January? Does this mean orders without a customer attached are being cancelled or that all orders are no longer changeable?

Audi dealer here has offered to buy me R-rubber for the R8 if I take a few prospective customers for rides....not a bad deal.
I was actually specing out a Z51 Corvette as a track car, had all the gear charts and info on coil over shocks etc spread out all over my desk. Wife put a stop to that suddenly but agreed I could then get a GT3 or R8 plus as a track car....so much for being thrifty.....

I've been trying to grow up for a while now, it's not working. If I can't get a GT3 I'll maybe get the RS or the R8 plus until you sell me your GT3
