Extended range fuel tank
Hey guys. I locked my build in Sept 3 and I tried to change my build to add extended range fuel tank. They refused. 2 questions.
1. Is there anyone to contact that can maybe help dealer telling me they called and emailed they were denied. Anyone here can make a contact for me ?
2. How big of deal is it not to have that feature. I didn't realize the gas mileage was 25 percent less than a turbo until recently. I am using as DD and would love to have the extended range.

Should be 1 of the pages of your order summary sheet that also contains commission number supplied to you by dealer. Depending on when your car starts production you should have time to change your order before it truly locks just before production, ironically enough I had dealer add extended range fuel tank to mine because I missed it when we built my car. First thing I would do is ask your dealer for build sheet with commission number on it and eta dates of progress of build. If they continue to give run around reach out to Porsche and see if they can nudge dealer to go in system and make this simple change. The only thing that would prevent change is you are past the point of changes to your build because order is truly locked by Porsche for final review and production .

The extended range tank will make a difference on track or on long trips, Otherwise not a deal breaker...
My RS burns through a 1/2 tank in a 25min session so the extended tank might get you though 2 sessions with some to spare to

I wouldn't sweat it. You can always add it later.
