As I was finalizing my build, my dealer pulled stats on these particular options nationally, which I thought was interesting. Sharing. Based on the separate thread with Champion Porsche and 15 allocations, not sure how this changes with that one dealers large apparent allocations. Maybe I need to call Champion and see if they can get my PTS car done, since they are the worlds largest dealer ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I'll see if he could pull. I was on the fence with these final options and was curious about the market, the reason I had him pull them. This is my final build that we pushed forward in the system. I just feel that unless this is going to be a fairly dedicated track car, a GT3 deserves the best brakes that can be ordered for the street -- PCCB. I also don't care for all the alcantera all over the lower dash in the full leather version. I think its gawdy and over the top for a GT3 (no offense, my opinion only). If I could have got full leather without all of that (i.e. just the stitching on dash and doors) I would have. The LEDs are cool, but I prefer the classic Porsche headlight look. And the lift, well I just think everyone needs it, even if they don't think they do

Jon, one thing to think about. For all the strong manly posts here about "buy the car for you, not resale, these aren't investments, etc.", I do like to have a sense of what is mainstream and what is not. I have proven a complete inability to keep my Porsches more than 1-2 years. And while I am comfortable financially, not to the point that I can just throw money away. So I like to ask my dealer what others are ordering, get a sense of what is popular, etc., then I can decide whether to ignore the market and do what I want, or not. For example, only about half the country is ordering PCCB, but I really want them, so if that number had been 10%, I'm still getting them. If I throw away $9k so be it. You may feel the same about the lift. But if you look at the fact that 85% of buyers are getting it, I would strongly consider it. In fact my dealer indicated that it was the one option he would say I had to get. I was planning on getting it anyway.

My dealer said that lift was important as well. Nice build. Mine has locked but if I had it to do over again I would not have gotten sport chrono.

Good points you bring up. I never felt the need for the lift on my RS, but realize the front bumper is lower on the 991 version. I still have some time to decide. My price just keeps escalating as I continue to add options. I'm trying to have some restraint.

Lift was the only must-have option for me. I use it every day, including in and out of my driveway. It also makes the car have access to certain places where you'd other otherwise risk actual bumper damage. That said, I've also already scraped the front lip when forgetting to use it, or, using it but traversing a pretty sharp transition.
