I tried it but I don't have a lift (have jacks) and couldn't do it, mainly because I have large hands and possibly not the right tools. I have seen early posts of DIY, though.

Hahaha. Sam--lately, regardless of thread, "size" seems to get roped into the discussion.

P.S. To disconnect the factory muffler : unbolt it on each side and the loosen the exhaust straps(2 straps) seen in this picture and in the one below. I believe the bolt is a HEX head. After loosening move the straps to the side(move them towards the outside of the car on each side-so to your left looking from the back for the left side of the muffler and to the right for the right side of the muffler) and prepare for the muffler to come down. You can put a jack underneath it if you think it might be too heavy.

A few bolts on each side.

P.S. You can unbolt the tips while the muffler is still on the car(I think it's easier) or after you've dropped it down. Either way, they have to be unbolted because they need to go on the Sharkwerks bypass.

If you're around Ny I'll come to your garage and pop this baby in for a few beers and a little chat about PDK-S.

BTW,here's the pkg you're receiving from Sharkwerks. You see how the end of the pipes is larger.? They fit over the pipe that's left on the car after removing the factory muffler. Of course, before fitting it you insert the respective clamp(large clamp for large pipe, small clamp for small pipe. Do this on each side.
Remember those straps you've removed from the factory muffler? It looks like you'll be reusing them to support the bypass. You'll be fitting those straps thru the brackets that you see welded on the bypass on each side.
I assume the 3 bolts and washers are for reattaching the factory exhaust tips.

DONE!

P.S. Ignore the little shark during installation. Do not install it!!!

Looks like you have instructions!! Also, you may need "liquid wrench", bolt loosener, to help undo stubborn bolts.
