Default At a wine bar last night.

Keys on bar. Woman asks about them. I explained. She said, nice job with the 'candy magnet'. LOL.

Oh, and I'm going to cut a house key from your picture, and steal your GT3 !

I still think the size of the key fob is a joke. Too big! Can't comfortably carry it in your pocket.

I got the painted key (just one). Makes me oddly happy.

Funny story. Reminds me I need to order the red key cover from suncoast.

Agree with nick that the key is too big. They could make it half that size easily.

Oh my! Is that lipstick or merlot you got on your key?

I think the carbon fiber McLaren key is the best I've seen.

Check eBay. I got a Porsche red cover for $35.

You guys must wear tiny pants with tiny pockets. The new key is actually smaller in some ways than the old and it's smooth so it slips in and out of the pocket easily. I have no trouble getting it into my overalls.

Frayed - I got the painted key also for my White GT3. My Wife thinks I am an idiot and the GM of my Dealer when he saw the white Key was asking who the heck ordered it. When he found out it was me he was busting my chops because he said of all the people he would not of thought I would order them. I told my Wife and the GM I got it for the Strippers - love it. It is actually funny because it is so ridiculous that I love it even more

How do the painted keys wear over time? I would assume they will scratch and chip over time?

They seem pretty durable to me. Hey- they are very nicely done. But, I am sure if you throw them on the ground they would chip

Yes, they scratch and chip at the leading edge. I have one OEM and one I painted myself. OEM is not much more durable.
