I can't take credit for these, but these are great tutorials on how to install the NAV-TV unit.

991 Rear Camera install - Part 2

And ... for the PCM Removal, by the same user

I am interested in the group buy and I'd like to hear if anyone including NAV-TV offers a solution that allows the rear camera to remain displayed while driving.

Interested in the group by. My gt3 should arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.

Thanks for posting the information on the install. A bit too involved for me but my friend who is also getting a gt3 in January may want to tackle this himself. Then he can do mine for some beers and Seahawks tickets.

Thanks for posting. I may tackle the front and rear. The rear doesn't appear to be overly complicated. Just take your time and check your connections. You can drill get drill bits that will go into a ratcheting screwdriver. I'd do that as opposed to using a power drill on the bumper. I'd hate to skip a bit across the bumper.

May be it would be easier if we can install a wireless rear camera?

That was my first thought but the guy at NAV-TV told me they are not so great. May be worth a try. Not sure.

I did a search on wireless cameras and most of what I found didn't look all that compelling. The ones integrated into the rearview mirror didn't have very good reviews. It would be nice if someone had something useable with an Android or iPhone.

That would be good indeed. I wonder, if one can mount a wireless bluetooth camera near the license plate, and just connect your phone to the camera as and when needed.
