See my Post (#13 in this thread). I had the CIS interface installed last August (along with a NAV-TV CAM6). I have had zero issues with it, and it has worked great.

Can we see a write up of the rydeen for the 360 system? I know rydeen also makes front and rear sensors for cars as well.

Curious: how do you tap into the rear defroster switch? Is NavTV intercepting CAN bus traffic, or are you manually tapping a wire on the defroster switch?

No manual tapping of wire for this option. It works through the CAN BUS.

Why do you need both CIS and NavTV?

is this the CIS that you are refering to?

The CIS device I have installed is the interface to the PCM. The NAV-TV CAM6 is the actual camera that is mounted in the rear bumper above the license plate.

Anyone have issues with FM reception being compromised by the NAV-TV interface? I purchased one and the install is scheduled for Saturday. If it's going to cause problems I would rather go with the CIS.

The NAV-TV cameras are called Cam5 and Cam6.
Where in front is your Cam5 being installed?

Its not the movement of the lines I was referring to but the fact that the left and right lines do not match up to the left and right sides of the car by quite a bit. So if you followed the lines and didn't know this you could easily destroy your left or right fenders. Strong reason not to give to a valet which I would not even without the camera installed.

I was at the Porsche facility in Stuttgart and saw some new 911's with this hideous round camera eyeball in the front intake. Could these be the surround and front cameras?

I think this was most likely the camera for the active/adaptive cruise control.
Saw this on a new 991 Turbo the other day and agree the camera ball in the front intake its not pretty.

I just got the PCM 3.1 XG-CAM and a CAM6 (NTV-299) installed. For some reason the grid lines do not appear on the display, checked that they are enabled in the config.

Anyone had this happen to them?

Back to the installer...
