I'm surprised how many people apparently ordered the 18-way seats to get the memory function and now expect PCNA to reimburse them for the full incremental cost over the 4-way seats. I was thinking that the improved adjustability was the primary reason for getting the 18-way and that the supposed memory feature was just a "nice to have" benefit. It hardly seems right to get $2,600.

PNA offered to refund us. I guess if you don't want the refund you can return it to PNA or donate it to your favorite charity.

False advertising....... And how do you allocate value.... its a personal assessment. Everyone's is different. And I am sure you are not one of the people who got "tricked" given your position. If you happen to be one please pm me for the extra piece and I will be happy to accept it from you

I was surprised as well, but it was not a demand, it was offered up by Porsche.

Same as above. I wasn't expecting a full refund, just stated it was false advertising (bait & switch) and PCNA offered a full refund. I didn't demand a full refund just stated I was disappointed. I'm also not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Do the 18-way seats at least include electric adjustment of the steering column as advertised?

+1.

I don't think anyone (on this forum, anyway) demanded any sort of full refund. This was something that they offered and which I very gladly accept.

My car hasn't been built yet and I did post a picture and statement about the seats not having the memory function. The reason was so that others don't get confused between the picture on the configurator (which shows the memory buttons), and their choice of the 18 ways. I actually go more by pictures than by reading the fine print and did assume that the memory function was included. Of course its not the end of the world and I certainly don't expect a refund or compensation but a change and clarity on the website would be useful to us all.
Here's the pic I posted...

I just checked the GT3 config website and here's the text:

Adaptive Sport Seats (18-way)
Driver and passenger seats with raised side bolsters on seat cushion and extended bolsters on seat backrest for additional shoulder support. Front seats offer electric adjustment of:

Seat backrest
Seat height
Fore/aft position
Seat cushion inclination
Seat cushion depth
Lumbar support (4-way)
Seat cushion side bolster
Backrest side bolsters
Height and fore/aft adjustment of steering column

So whats the truth?

The truth is that the steering wheel is manually adjustable for height and fore and aft. No electricity involved. Once again, that description is a carryover from other models. Maybe they'll have the configurator straightened out for the 2016 GT3's, if there are any....

Actually someone on this forum did demand and receive a refund. Then he turned the car back in. Class act.

Turned the car in for not having the memory thing? I hope he didn't take the compensation from PCNA as well.

PCNA agreed to buy back 2014's if someone was dissatisfied. He just figured out a way to beat them out of an extra $2600.
