You think they will provide Loaners??

Hey - would like one of those models because I have not even seen my 991 GT3 so this would be the closest I have come

Nice sleuthing! Someone must be getting chewed out over this leaked photo... But it does seem to confirm a lot of suspicions:
- the front fender vents (with fins bearing some resemblance to 458SP--a gauntlet thrown down!?)
- rear "turbo-style" fender intakes (not partially covered like RSR)
- lower rear bumper design
- no flics (maybe the front lip extending up the front wheel arches achieves this aero effect--also this is now echoed behind the rear wheels on the lower part of the rear wheel arches)
- no front hood air intake (I guessed wrong)...
- roof looks to be double bubble

Plus strangely no stickers (yet?) but some nice two-tone colour accents in black: side mirrors, wing end plates and uprights, vents/intakes, wheels. Curious they did not include PCCB on this model (interesting message that sends). And the wart is there--maybe standard now (full disclosure: I'm a wart defender)!

^I have to admit - the car looks great. I do not track my cars so this would be over-kill for me but one can not deny, that if this is a replica - wow!!!

I'm with you Jim. This would be overkill for me. But my bet is that it's going to rock--if they redid the Speciale and 650S comparison with this? Pretty sure it would come out on top when you consider how close the GT3 came as it is...

These die cast models typically have a lot of detail. I'm sure if we had a peek inside, we would have our answer in terms of transmission.

Btw--anyone have the link to the PH thread with the source info?

I'm really curious,if any of you don't mind answering :

Since you've settle for the PDK-S and have come to peace with this decision, why would one care if the RS came with a manual option? Let's say it did come with a manual option,I would think that those looking to upgrade to the RS from the GT3 would still opt for PDK-S,am I right?

Disclaimer : I am not looking to create a controversy,I just think it would be interesting to find out...

Nick--I'm not in the market for an RS. Just curious as general auto enthusiast which direction Porsche goes in for the RS. I would opt for PDK-S regardless for my GT3 even if it were an option.
