When I went to see mahogany metallic in real life, unfortunately it looked nothing like those pictures. I was left very confused as that beautiful purple color had become my primary interest. Instead, in real life mahogany metallic has a very strong brown tint to it, in most sunlight actually looks brown definitely not purple.
Not sure how those famous pictures especially the ones with the gold rims look so purple, is it possible those were a PTS color?
Just reviving this thread, since there have been a couple new possible PTS cars spotted. At long last, there is an orange GT3! Not sure if it's PTS vs wrap, but looks good anyway.

Thanks for posting the pictures Daniel. I received pictures of this car from the UK last week but promised not to post them until the owner or someone else did. Now the cat is out of the bag .
My car should be here in the next week or 2. Arrived in Halifax on November 20th. Might be the first PTS GT3 in Canada.

Conekilr, I'm surprised your car hasn't arrived yet if it came into Halifax on November 20. I think mine was in Halifax for 2 or 3 days and then 4 days on the truck. Only a week from Halifax to dealer. I was told all GT3's ship on enclosed truck rather than train. Thorsons is the shipper.
