Clocked - I am seeing the opposite. I was testing the waters on a 2015 Vantage S and they were very anxious to give me the Vantage S(discounted considerably) "now" paying the agreed upon difference as long as they saw the build sheet and were satisfied that it was really my car. In other wards - they wanted my GT3. I believe I mentioned this on another thread. But, I also think the Owner of the Dealership wanted the car for herself

Nah they just want to sell you a Vantage S. Why would a dealer trade a Turbo S Cab he can sell now for a GT3 he doesn't know when he can get. Remember the 75-77 911 issues? Well history is repeating itself.

We'll see what Porsche Financial Services says about that when someone tries to lease a yet-undelivered 2014...

I don't know the extent of depreciation, but I can't think of too many examples where a 1-year-old car and the newest year car sell for the same cash. Can you? Like it or not, a 2014 is going to be worth less than the 2015s released almost simultaneously, and Porsche knows it.

My 2014 still shows Nov 7 to the dealer. Now is Porsche's payment of 2k a month plus loaner plus extra warranty largely offsetting this? Absolutely.

^You are probably right. But I still would not surrender my 2014, which I am expected to drive some time in Aug., for a 2015 3 months later - and that is because the $2000 per month helps remedy that desire.
Oh yeh!! - Plus I would never be able to find a 2015 allocation - that is for sure

**I think what I am implying is that that the 2015 might be worth more than the 2014 but I think this model 2014/15, as a whole, will not depreciate like the other variants. You may very well drive this car for 2 years and put on 8,000 - 10,000 miles and be surprised that when you sell it that you do not lose as much as you may think

I'm with you, Jim. At this point, I'm not planning on taking any chances. Just going to accept the situation for what it is, enjoy the hell out of the damn thing when it finally arrives and I'll live with the consequences come selling time.

Driving the free 911 in the meantime isn't hurting either. I think when you weigh in the value of the loaner for several months, $2000/month and the extended warranty, I'm not thinking twice about depreciation. I keep my cars for a long time, so in the long run it will be nothing anyway.

Have there been any confirmed cases of real 2015 allocations being provided at this point?

So after 2 emails, still nothing from my concierge....no response
Very poor customer service.
Checked with my dealer...they still can't give me a revised production or build date.
sucks.

I have not heard of any confirmed new 2015 allocations. Just reclassified 2014s to 15. Some were reporting they got a call for a 2015 allocation but it was suspect that some one bailed on a 2014 4th quarter allocation that was probably reclassified and still time to rebuild before lock down.. I suspect that Aug/Sept they would start giving out allocations

I think that you're right. I was told that the Stop Sale on the GT3 was still in effect and there would be no new 2015 allocations until the Stop Sale is rescinded.

Regarding GT3s, I don't fully believe anything that I hear or read until I see it happen.

Anyone want to hazard a guess on the total number of 2014/2015 991 GT3s that will be produced?

For USA? My guess is 1,000-1,200 total for the run.

^ Hearing around the same. That is why some of the Dealerships are being arrogant and short sighted. I am not accusing mine as being so but from examples of what I have read on this forum has indicated that to me

Got a call from Justin @ PCNA today ,whom was calling to inform me of my delivery date to dealer for my commission # would December 19 , I already had that date from my SA , he indicated that
about a month delay for all due to production time for motors . I asked if that was a worst case date
which he didn't say yea or nea to but that PAG was firm on that date. When asked he said they where working on about 200 calls some orders in the system as recently as this month, When asked about 2015 allocations he did not have answer if his call list was new allocation or not , I say likely not. As well when asked about the price difference on options from the 14 build to the 15 build that
was something to discuss with the dealer. He was basically calling to give the customer PAG's to
dealer date. When asked if Andrea Arauz was still @ PCNA he said he was in a different department
and that she was a GT3 concierge I sure hope this date actually moves up a month
