Black absorbs all of the color spectrum so it is heaviest. White being opposite.....well you get the picture.

White is the combination of all colors in the visible spectrum, mine car is just red...clearly yours must therefore be heavier and well, slower. I don't make this stuff up, it's science.....

No Mike:

White reflects all the colors, so no added weight. Red absorbs all except red, so heavier, but still lighter than black.

Ok doubleurx, based on the assumption that photons add weight, I guess you've got me. While we're discussing this I've always wondered; how does the weight of photons absorbed by my car compare to the weight of angels dancing on the head of a pin?

lol...actually there is real world data on this one. Car and Driver tested the GT3 at 0-60 in 3.0 seconds. The car they tested was red....

Thanks Jimmy. I was trying to not exceed 8500 RPM on the videos I posted but I have couple of more videos which I will be uploading tonight and on these I up shift close to 9000 rpm. These last 500 RPM's are so addictive and once you experience them, you just want to do that on every shift. Really an amazing car. Mark

You are very welcome. I have now 2700 miles total on the car and 1500 miles since the engine swap. I am now and for the past 200 miles reaching the red line on regular basis. I feel the car is ready for the track and I am planning next Sunday to hit the track. Will make sure to record the session. PIR is a beautiful track, with 12 turns in a relatively short track, so a car with great handling shines on the track. Can't wait.... Mark

Congratulations.... Love the car by the way. Mark

Sam you are in big trouble. Scientifically the sum of all colors adds up to the white color. You have so much baggage buddy.....Check out corrected data below....

Corrected Data: 0-60 mph in the 991 GT3
Black - 3.0
Red-3.05
Yellow - 3.45
Saphire Blue - 3.47
White - 4.6 sec

Mike car will definitely be faster!!! If you like........Mike or myself can ship you our spare red touch up paint bottles, to help your car out . Mark

Been traveling through Cali for past few weeks. I stopped by a couple of Porsche dealers was told by San Jose Porsche all six of their cars have been swapped and returned to customers heard similar from auto exchange in LA. Only saw one on the street. I'm still going to be one of the last 2014 deliveries, essentially November. They'll likely deliverer a 2016 with sport buckets to Clocked before I see my car.

Have you checked your order recently? At one time, mine was a November delivery. It then changed to Sept. 19th. As of yesterday, it's on the boat with arrival in San Diego on August 22, at my dealer Sept.5.

That's amazing, Doubleurx! Are you a Cat B that was stuck at the factory?

I'm Cat B at port and likely will get my 2014 just a couple / few weeks ahead of you.
