From a poster located in GB. This is not good news. I hope our cars are not delayed until September. Hi My car came in to the country around the 3rd week in FEB. ( late JAN early FEB build )Car not yet registered or paid for.Vehicle was held at the port of entry then after a few weeks moved to Reading. On Tue.the 6th came the bad news that my new engine is programmed to be with the localOPC early SEPT. The car will be delivered before this date in readiness for the OPC to fit the replacement engine. The best they could hope for was handover around the 3rd / 4th week in SEPT.To say I am gutted is an understatement. Deposit in MARCH & now delivery late SEPT.18 mths.
Ugh.

Realistically you are looking at Sept for most GT3's to get a new engine.

Unfortunately, I agree. Would love to be proven wrong of course. Maybe I get my phone call next week... No matter what is said, the excitement has worn off. When I have a real date, maybe it comes back.

Ugh
So obviously no one got a call or an email as of yet. This is very frustrating. Ah well, maybe they'll surprise us Monday saying the engines are at the dealerships. If only the car wasn't all that good. Sigh.

Sam - Is that your GT3 as your Avatar??. How is that Porsche emblem in red installed? Can you take a picture from further away so I can see how it looks from a greater distance?

When I spoke with Ian last week, he was "hopeful" they would receive the information by the end of today and would start calling the first of the week. So I wouldn't expect anything until the end of next week.

From poster in Geneva; progress initial engine removal. He has been told it will take about a day possibly longer.
