Got my call today
#47
I just got a call from "Katrinia" at PNA. Background, my car stopped production on 2/14. Was originally to be at my dealer on May 2nd. She said I will have a loaner on May 2nd to use until my GT3 shows up whenever that may be.
She did not say what type of loaner - likely a used Hyunda (kidding) but felt this to be a fair offer for someone that only has a deposit on a car.

That's interesting Clocked. How'd you manage that? Not sure why they give loaners to some even though you're not obligated to the car.... or is that Porsche's way of locking you into the car?

When this whole thing started I spoke to PNA and they asked me what "we can do" I said to them as I sold a Ferrari in the fall in anticipation of the GT3 that I will now be without a "summer car" and living in Chicago we have s short driving season. At first (February) they said they would consider it. They got back to me a few days later and said sorry your car may still arrive in May thus no loaner. ( I agree).
When we got our letters early this week, I called on Monday and again they asked "what can we do?" And I said would like a loaner now that there is no chance my car will arrive in May.
They called today and agreed. I think this is very fair. I am not looking for any money etc just the use of a summer car. Of course I have not seen any "papers" for the loaner so as this point I am not obligated to take the GT3 whenever it arrives.
Hope that helps others.
