Agreed. I was given a case number associated with my commission / VIN. Every time I call (once a week), I make sure they reference that number and note the call.

I'm sorry. I have a really, really stupid question. If you have NOT taken delivery why would you not take back your deposit or put it toward a 2015? I don't get why you would take a brand new GT3 with an engine swap if you didn't have to. I understand the agony of those who already have one. In the meantime I am going to thank my salesperson for convincing me to go 911/50 instead of GT3. It sometimes pay to be old and overweight.

This presumes you can get a 2015 allocation.

I asked my dealer for a allocation of a 2015 while mine is on hold since 2/14 he said "we have no allocations and there are many people ahead of you that have spec'ed a 2015"

Oh Porsche I think you have no idea about customer service.

I really hope that the people who have a 918 start telling Porsche "I want my money back, if you can't build the GT3 engine properly how in the heck can I trust you to build my 918?" If this starts to happen, Porsche may finally get it!! But then again it is a dream.

Just because you have a car '14 that needs a motor swap does not entitle you to bump you infront of those who have a '15 allocation or their spot on the list. You already have a GT3. Just one that needs fixing.

This is a dealer issue not a company issue.

The dealers are in a tough spot. So, you order your car with all your odd specs (not you clocked, but 'you' used generally). Turquoise/pink color scheme, lots of carbon fiber and pink wheels.

You say, ****. I don't want it, sell that lemon to someone else and bump your other repeat customers for the first 2015 build. . . oh I see, you only have one? OK, give me that one.

Reasonable? I think not. Though I know most of you will argue otherwise.

Wah wah wah, I want a 2015 you have to give it to me!!

The correct term from now on should be "Porsche Racing Modifications". Its all in the marketing.

Porsche should announce this:

Our Porsche engineers along with our motorsport technicians have completed our analysis and will implement the modification to meet the standards of our motorsport programs. All 2014 motors will be replaced by a new motor with a upgrade of a key component to enhance stability and durability.

I'll pay more for the car.

I disagree it all rolls downhill. Also if you have a new gt3 that needs "fixing", as you put it well Straight to the front of the line.

I just purchased my 2014 Porsche gt3 knowing about the issues. I wanted to go ahead and get it, knowing Porsche would take care of any issue. I called Porsche North America and spoke with a rep... she said I would be assigned a "special" rep for this issue.... that was just about 1 hours ago...
So I thought I would get involved with a chat group and see what other owners are doing..... so I just joined .....

something I was thinking..... they should replace our engines with a GT3 RS engine and rename our's
GT3 - S ( special edition )
Make something negative... a positive.... I would wait a bit for GT3 RS engine.... it would probably increase the future value with that engine .... rather than a possibility of losing value with a regular replacement engine....

Default Just starting

Hello everyone.... I just purchased a 2014 GT3 knowing about the issues. I figured get it now and Porsche will take care of the issues. I have just joined this forum to get other owners input and feed back. I called Porsche of North America and spoke with a rep who told me that I would get a call from a
"special" GT3 rep.... hopefully they follow up ....
