I dont see why PAG would communicate anything until such time as they have identified the root cause, its resolution, the cars affected and the recall program to resolve it.
Its not different than any other manufacturer of pretty much any product would d IMO.
I heard from my dealer today that production on the GT3 is continuing. This would mean Porsche has isolated the issue. They would not be producing new cars with this issue unresolved since no customer is going to pay for a car that can't be delivered and with no resolution.

I was at my dealer today to pick up my "Loaner" 2014 Boxter, which if I might add is quite a fun car just lacking in the speed department, but they had no clue of any press release for tomorrow. I'm hoping that there is one, but apparently I knew more about the problem than them. Guess it's just the waiting game now.
What do you mean not accurate? We already know the problem is a leaky gasket, a bad conrod, a defective bracket, a torque wrench left behind during assembly and an overall wrong engine design. What's not accurate about such facts??
