Guy's the drivers rendition of the accident is to cover his *** when and if he is sued by the occupants of the oncoming vehicle he struck. He will want to blame anyone or anything other than himself. If you buy his assertion that Porsche offered him a replacement please contact me because I have a beautiful bridge to sell you.

Mooty is right. We need to move on from this incident.

My bad for missing that. You underscored that I am not, and should not be, a vehicle forensics expert.

Let's also realise that the jurisprudence is not in that mecca of personal liability litigation, namely, California....but rather the British Isles...

I wonder if this was caused by the Oil line issue that Porsche is now recalling the cars for?... Sudden loss of traction would indicate the possibility of Oil on the road preventing traction. Hmmmmm

I sold my MPSC as soon as I came home after a nerve wrecking 4 hours of Florida monsoon driving from the dealer.

The car was impossible to drive at normal traffic speed. At least I had the clutch to hammer to let the car find grip, more intuitive than both flappies in for old timers.

I wonder if the PDK-S holds gear, maybe he wanted to rev the car up to make some noise and then when he lifted the rear locked beyond the nannies help?

A head-on collision where each driver is traveling 50mph is basically
equivalent to hitting a brick wall at 50mph - in both cases the car
will decelerate from 50 to 0.
