Sounds like you guys are having a tough haul.. Lyra Leader seem's like it took for ever in Jan..
Hopfully the cars will get to the dealers soon and you can at least sit in them.. Thats a huge milestone, and quite satisfying believe it or now.. We were are guessing there are only about 100 in US who have possession..

Haha. Watch: "Unfortunately, the u-turn taken by the GC off the coast of Baja CA resulted in the utter destruction of all GT3s on board. Oddly, all other vehicles on board were unharmed."

Yes, You hit the nail on the head GSK. The longer it takes to resolve this issue the less car on the road which is unfortunate for the people waiting for production but make this car even more rare for people like us. All we need now is the clean bill of heath next week or so. I bet all these cars will be rreleased this month. So cheer up guys.

Tim, these GT3 better be on board

@silverrules -- if, on top of the recall issues, our cars were mysteriously lost or damaged on the boat or en route, it's a sign. Short of that, we are getting our long overdue cars!

If you guys get the cars to the dealers.. maybe they can do stuff like clear bra, and window tint.. -- Same some time as your not going to want to part with it for 1 day once you get the OK.

What's one more day? I've been waiting three months to get my car. Car arrived at Emden on 18 Dec and I have yet to even catch a glimpse of it yet.

On a more serious note, I don't think you can get a car released from a port anyways, otherwise you'd have an excellent point. Wish I could send a crew to the port to do it while it sits there.

Great! I wonder if they will leave them at the port. I would like to sit in mine and help ease my consternation.

Unfortunately, unless something changed in the last 48 hours, PCNA told me all cars reaching port during the stop sale will stay at the port. They were supposed to call me back to inform me if they will be stored at an indoor facility at SD...but, naturally, I have not heard back from them.

I set expectations low now...so I won't be pissed off constantly. Rather, so I won't be AS pissed off constantly. Ugh.

Ohh.. I thought the ole chaps were taking to the dealers. Maybe not.. Too bad.. seems like it would be salt at the port.. -- With all the 'Closed Carrier' for gt3 talk, might be a moot point as i've seen so many pictures of them sitting outside at factory in Stuttgart, don't think it matters..

Finally heard back from my dealer: "Car is inside as requested"

Good news!

I was at the dealer today. My car shows it has finished PDI and ready for invoicing. Good indication the car is ready to go? They don't have any new GT3 allocations for this year. They will also replace all the coolant pipes on my 10 yr old Cayenne-S and its 100% covered by Porsche. All I need to do is get a case # next week and they will take care of it. Saves me ~$2000. Not bad, ha?
