Pretty sure the GT3 will end up posting the same if not better times, but thats mainly off of the relative ease of dispatching what the GT3 has to offer VS the GT...that GT is a nasty, nasty beast...in the best way of course...but so so so touchy. One of the only cars I have ever scared myself in.

Absolutely Correct! The posted 612 HP Carrera GT Nurburgring Lap Time was 7:28.00 by Walter Rohrl way back in 2003.
The 991 476 HP GT3 Nurburgring Lap Time was 7:25.00 set in 2013.
Big tire improvements during the past 10 Years. IMHO, too close to call.

Am I the only one that's anxious to know how they compared side by side! I took my GT3 to my first track day this past weekend and it took me a good 2 hours or so just to get used to it on my particular track.
