Default Reverse Camera and Parking Sensors?

Maybe a newbie question, but is a reverse camera and/parking sensors available on 991 GT3? I don't see those options on the online configurator, but perhaps they are available anyway?

Reminds me of my weekend drive with a friend:

I'm parallel parking in a tight spot, he says -
"What kind of parking assist do you have in this car" Me - "the one that sits in the passenger sit" After a second of pause he gets out and helps me park.

Later when I let him drive, he's adjusting the seat and asks me "You do have memory for your seat settings, right?" My response - "Yes, I remember them".

When he asked if there is a camera that automatically tells the car when to engage front axle lift, I did not need to respond - he knew the answer before he finished the question.

I do not know why Porsche removed some features that cost nothing to make and weigh nothing, but I'm ok with that. Because race car, as they say.

Yep. That's why you can't get cruise control, stereo upgrade, satnav, etc either. Oh, hang on....

It's not an unfair statement that folks who find creature comforts like memory seats, rear cameras and sensors and what not desirable features, will find a better product in the TT. That's also a more capable car in the hands of that segment of customers.

Depends on what you want - an intelligent car, or an intelligent driver.

But the GT3 options list has other comfort and cosmetic items. What's with the optional rain sensing wipers and voice control? Why the optional leather and sound upgrade?

I agree. Rear sensor and camera are a nice feature and have no weight impact.

I really wanted rear sensors on this car...I would have GLADLY paid for them and dont think they would have ruined this car at all with the extra maybe pound of equipment!

+1. Rear sensors are more needed on this car than on even Turbo - the wing blocks rear visibility, the mirror does not tilt down, and you cannot turn head much when strapped into harness, especially with HANS.
