I doubt it, esp since those pictures were of the 2015 facelift models in field tests. The car would essentially have to be part of that. My reasoning? The facelift cars are in testing and the changes are pretty much cosmetic/superficial (less so if they have RWS) ... introducing a new gearbox takes a lot of re-engineering and testing.

Since it appears that they have more demand than supply for the GT3 why would they waste a moment in a major re-engineering of the RS when they can be pretty certain that the same situation for the RS.

I just dont think that PAG have the time nor the motivation to do this, its nothing but wishful thinking and internet rumor IMO.

The rear tail lights were perfect on the 991.1. Facelift looks worse.

What is Porsche thinking running these LCI's so soon? Owners have barely gotten their feet wet on the new Turbo, GT3 and we've yet to see the production RS. Though I'm not one that's drawn to a model because it's the newest and greatest, I am ever so slightly disappointed that an facelift model is so near while I haven't even received my car. I guess it's the reality of an accelerating market and automotive dynamic. BTW, this facelift doesn't evoke any emotion so far.

End of rant.

The wing is almost tall enough..
I like the fat front fenders a lot.

The wheels look bigger, 20" and 21", they barely fit
No more air intake at all under the rear wing, so only through the sides.

The shapes of the roof and frunklid indicate CF

Anyone care to guess?

notice the ducts on the rear bumper at either side ... looks like they may be venting the rear wheel arches

Right, seems like all the air enters through the side and comes out on top and on the sides of the diffuser. Cool.

Still hoping the turbo intakes go away in the final product. Rear wheel diameter look larger than the fronts, rumors are starting to come true. Front fenders do look good, approve.

Love it, sidewalls on tires are surprisingly tall considering wheel diameter. Can anyone tell if there are 3 pedals from the images
